ABOUT
I am proud to have been the Founder of The Work-Family Connection in 1989. Since that time, I have held every position in the organization as it grew from one to over thirty Before and After School Programs, Kindergarten Extended Day Programs and Summer Camp Programs all over the state of New Jersey. I truly love working with our staff, our parents, and most of all seeing the smiles on the children’s faces.
I have a BA from Rutgers University and graduated from the Wellesley College School-Age Care Leadership Institute. I have completed graduate credits at the Wharton School, Columbia Graduate School of Business, and Cornell University. I am trained in Positive Discipline and Conflict Resolution. I have served as a certified Endorser for the National After-School Alliance, and have served as President and Board Member of the New Jersey School-Age Care Coalition. Upon recommendation of School Superintendents, I was a NJ State Ambassador for Afterschool, a position that advocates for afterschool programs and provides professional development opportunities.
I have served as Vice-President on my local Board of Education and chaired the Communications and Policy Committee. I also have served as Vice-President of the Educational Services Commission. Prior to 1989, I was in Executive Management at AT&T. I have lived in Hunterdon County most of my life.
